Elizabeth "Angela" (DiZoglio) Ragosta

Elizabeth "Angela" (DiZoglio) Ragosta

of Coventry, formerly of Scituate, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021.  She was the beloved wife of the late Michele Ragosta, Jr.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Enrico “Harry” and Concetta (Martone) DiZoglio.

Angela was an active member at Holy Apostles Church in Cranston and enjoyed cooking for her family, especially her famous meatballs and pizza.  She took joy in baking pastries for her church friends, was an avid knitter and reader, and in her younger years loved to spend time out in her garden.

She was the devoted mother of Adrienne A. Marchetti of Pawtucket, Annette A. Ragosta of Germantown, MD, Dr. Michael Ragosta, III and his wife Dr. Kiyoko Asao-Ragosta of Charlottesville, VA, Christopher Ragosta and his wife Janet of Johnston and Heidi A. Rocchio and her husband Joseph of Coventry; cherished grandmother of Nicholas, Anthony, Sachiko, Mia, C.J. and Isabella Ragosta, and Joseph and Domenic Rocchio; and dear sister of Dr. Joseph D. DiZoglio and his wife Dr. Beata DiZoglio of East Greenwich, Gregory J. DiZoglio and his wife Robin of Cranston and the late Harry F. DiZoglio.

Angela’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 10th at 10 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston, (social distancing and masks required), followed by burial at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
