ELIZABETH "BETTY" A. (ARTROOGIAN) VAGSHENIAN

Mrs Vagshenian was a commercial bookkeeper and later an administrative assistant at Brown University for many years before retiring. She was a member of Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church and its Women's Guild; and The Newman "Y" of East Providence. She served for the last 32 years as an usher at the Providence Performing Arts Center.

She was the devoted mother of Gregory S. Vagshenian, M.D. and his wife Athena of Austin, TX and Donna L. Vagshenian and her husband Michael J. Kelly of North Kingstown; dear sister of Souren Artroogian of Chelsea, MA; loving grandmother of Erik Vagshenian, the late Mark Vagshenian, Nicholas Kelly, Wendi Severance, Stephen Robinson and Elizabeth Machajewski; and loving great-grandmother of Steven, Katie, Sara, David, Adam, Kolby and Luke.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday 5-7 p.m. Interment will be at Swan Point Cemetery in Providence.
