Elizabeth P. (Soscia) Pitocco 96, of Cherry Hill Road, Johnston, formerly of Cranston died Tuesday, July 21, 2009. She was the wife of the late Domenic "Tommy" Pitocco. Born in Cranston she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rosina (Stamagna) Soscia- Lepizzera and step-daughter of the late Michael Lepizzera. Mrs. Pitocco was employed by the former Imperial Knife Company of Providence for many years until her retirement. Elizabeth was a member of the St. Mary's Church Ladies Auxiliary and the Cranston Senior Center. She is survived by her children, Cynthia Lima and her husband Michael of West Warwick, Rebecca Corvese and her husband Ronald of Johnston, and Regina DeMarco and her husband Julian of Cranston. Elizabeth was the grandmother of nine and the great-grandmother of ten. She was the sister of Fiore and Frank Lepizzera, both of Cranston and the late Jennie Bianco, Domemic, Joseph and Carlo Lepizzera. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
