ELIZABETH 'BETTY' PERSICO

94, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2013. She was the wife of the late Arthur T. Persico. She was born in Brooklyn, NY a daughter of the late John and Mary (Nunziata) Cipriano and had resided most of her life in NY moving to RI 20 years ago. Spending time with family is what gave Betty so much joy. She was very devoted to her husband, Artie, and together they shared in the lives of each of their grandchildren and great grandchildren in a special way. She was employed as an administrative assistant at Hershey Foods Corporation in NY until her retirement. Betty volunteered at numerous functions and activities for the churches she was associated at. She is survived by her daughters: Bettyann Tudino and her husband Michael of Wakefield, RI and Emily Morgan and her husband Hugh of Rye, NY. She was the grandmother of Brendan Hugh Morgan, Beth Morgan McCabe, Kathryn Leigh Morgan, Cristina Amanda Tudino and great grandmother of Richard James " R.J. McCabe. She was the sister of Emily Farina of Valley Stream, L.I., Ernest Cipriano of Thousand Oaks, CA and the late Theresa Miscione, Ellen, Eugene and Ferdinand Cipriano. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 9th, at 10:30am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. ( RT 1A ), Narragansett followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Veronica Chapel, Boston Neck Rd., Narragansett at 11am. VISITING HOUS will be held Tuesday morning from 9-10:30am. Interment will take place in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 245 Waterman St., Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906.
