ELIZABETH "BETTY" DeMARIA) CEDRONE
Elizabeth "Betty" (DeMaria) Cedrone, 86, passed away peacefully Sunday May 3, 2009 in Elmhurst Nursing Home in Providence. Betty lived for many years in Providence before moving to East Bay Manor in East Providence in 2007. Betty was the wife of the late Dave Cedrone.
Born in Cranston, Betty was the daughter of the late Costanzo and Marietta DeMaria. She worked for General Electric Base Works for many years before retiring. Betty led a very happy social life; her many friends were like family to her. She was a communicant of St. Bartholomew's Church. She is survived by her sister Lucy Sabetta of Providence, and was the aunt of Ralph L. Sabetta of Providence, Dr. James Sabetta of Greenwich, CT., Anne Santoro of East Lyme, CT., Edward DeMaria of MA., and Arthur DeMaria of New York. She was the mother of the late Mary Ann Cedrone and sister of the late William, Arthur, Frank, and Rudolph DeMaria, Louise DelMonico and Mae Carrier. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew's Church Providence at 10 a.m. Entombment will be in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum, St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Alzheimers Association 245 waterman St. Suite # 306 Providence, RI 02906.
