ELIZABETH L. (SOSCIA) BENT

89, of North Attleboro, MA, formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 12, 2012 at the Madonna Manor, North Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Jack Bent. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Arcangela (Petrillo) Soscia. Elizabeth was employed for 18 years by the State of R.I. Commissioners Office and as an underwriter for the American Surety Company before retiring. She is survived by her loving children, Barbara Guilbault and her husband Paul of Attleboro, William Bent and his wife Lisa of Coventry, and Jeffrey Bent of West Greenwich; her stepchildren Jack R. Bent of Kentucky, Valerie Cushing of Tennessee, and the late Lawrence Bent of Kentucky; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jacqueline, Danielle, Nicole, Sydney, and Madison. Elizabeth was predeceased by 6 brothers and 1 sister.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue on Saturday at 8 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 1493 Cranston Street, Cranston. Interment will take place in R.I. Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
