Eliza (Sarkissian) Suvajian

ELIZA SUVAJIAN, 78, of North Country Club Dr., Warwick, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, February 7, 2022.  She was the beloved wife of the late Herach “Harry” Suvajian. Born in Bucharest, Romania, she was the daughter of the late Hagop and Ankine (Alyanakian) Sarkissian; devoted mother of Donna Walker and her husband James of Bridgewater, VT, Sona Theilig and her husband Fred of Cranston, Adrienne Jones of North Kingstown and Roseanne Corbett and her husband Michael of West Warwick; cherished grandmother of twelve; and loving great-grandmother of five.

Eliza was an active and dedicated member of Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church where she was an Armenian school teacher, treasurer of the Cultural Committee and church photographer; and member of the Daughters of Vartan.

VISITING HOURS are Monday, February 14th from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, 70 Jefferson St., Providence with a Funeral Service following at 11 a.m. (Masks are Required).  Burial will be at North Burial Ground, Providence.
