ELENA ANN ZITO

Elena Ann (Gallo) Zito 81, of Cranston passed away Sunday August 24, 2008 at Roger Williams Medical Center Providence. She was the beloved wife of Frank Zito. They were married 63 years. She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Loreto and Gaetana (DePetrillo) Gallo. Mrs. Zito was a Registered LPN working at RI Hospital and the VA Hospital until retiring in 1969. Besides her husband she is survived by her loving son, Frank R. Zito, CPD Ret. and his former wife Phyllis of Cranston, her cherished grandsons, John Zito and his wife Gloria of CA, and Ronald Zito of Cranston. Her siblings, John Gallo of Johnston, Antonio Gallo of FL, Gloria I. Zito of Cranston. She was the sister of the late, Albert, Joseph, Charles, Sylvio Gallo, Antonetta Colardo, Mary Scotti, Laura Zanfagana and Mafalda Kennedy. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary's Church Cranston St. Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 4-8 pm.
