87, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Kent Hospital. Born in Providence, Elena was a daughter of the late John and Josephine Izzo.
She was the beloved wife of her husband Arthur Salzillo, the beloved and devoted mother of her two sons Arthur Salzillo, Jr. (Terry) of Cranston and David A. Salzillo (Judi) of Providence, and the cherished grandmother of David A. Salzillo, Jr. and Michael Salzillo.
Helen passed her values of unconditional love, honesty, and empathy down to the generations of her family. They will never forget her strength and faith in the face of great physical adversity.

All of those whom she met in life will remember her joy, spirit, and laughter.
She was the sister of the late Rose Chirichella, Carol Ortoleva, and Carlo and Gaetano Izzo. May she rest in peace with them.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at St. Mary's Church, Cranston at 10 a.m.. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
