ELENA A. (ALTRUI) JOYAL

85, of Johnston, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Leo Joyal. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Giovanni and Ersilia (DeChristofaro) Altrui.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Elena was the sister of the late, Anthony, Attilio, Ernest Altrui, Amarosa DeQuattro, and Feliciana Carrara.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Antoine Residence, 10 Rhodes Avenue, North Smithfield, RI 02896.
