ELENA R. IACONO

Elena R. Iacono 93, of Broadway in Providence passed away on Sunday September 20, 2009 at home. She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Peter and Assunta (Luongo) Iacono. Miss Iacono was a clerk at the Providence Police Department for over 25 years. She is survived by 10 nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. Elena was also the sister of the late Elizabeth Bellino, Ann Taylor, Fortuna Scotti, and Frank, Orlando, and Joseph Iacono. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 11 am in St. Mary's Church Cranston St. Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted, and in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Home and Hospice Care of RI 1085 North Main St., Providence RI 02904.
