ELENA (RIVELLI) ANNARUMMO

59, of Cranston and Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Paul Annarummo. They were married 33 years. Elena was born in Providence, the daughter of Pasqualina (Minicucci) Rivelli of Johnston and the late Vincent Rivelli. She was also the step-daughter of Roger Bernard. She was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services. After serving as a Fiscal Manager at URI, she also worked as an Eligibility Technician for the RI Department of Human Services. After retiring from state service she worked for the Federal Transportation Security Administration as a passenger screener, at T.F. Green Airport for one year, finally retiring in late 2004. She enjoyed simple living, finding much joy in her Florida home, cooking, loving nature, enjoying serenity and spending time with treasured family and friends. She will be sadly missed by those who love her. Besides her husband and mother she is survived by her loving brother, Peter V. Rivelli of Cranston and also by loving in-laws and several nieces and nephews . Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10 am in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Ave., Providence. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
