ELEANOR (MEZZANCELLA) PETRILLO

89, of Reed Ave., Cranston, passed away on Monday May 10, 2010 at Cra-Mar Meadows in Cranston. She was the devoted wife of John E. Petrillo, Sr. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Conchetta (Cipriani) Mezzancella. Eleanor was a secretary for the former United Wire Company of Cranston for twenty years before her retirement. Besides her husband she was the beloved mother of John E. Petrillo, Jr. of Warwick; loving grandmother of Jay, Steven, and Michael Petrillo, and loving great-grandmother of Nicholas, Kaitlin and Lea; dear sister of Theresa Swanson and Vera Tirocchi and the late Catherine D'Orio, Ida Parente, Rose Zompa, Mary La Boni and Joseph Mezzancella. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10:00a.m. in St. Matthew's Church Cranston, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Alzheimer's Center 25 Brayton Avenue Cranston, RI 02920
