ELEANOR A. (CAMPANELLI) CORDEIRO

ELEANOR A. (CAMPANELLI) CORDEIRO, 72, of Cranston, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Home & Hospice Care of RI in Providence with her family at her side. Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of the late Frank V. and Philomena (Carlone) Campanelli.

Eleanor graduated from Barrington High School and Arthur Angelo Hair Academy and was co-owner and stylist of the former Golden Dream Beauty Salon in Barrington. She later went on to Bryant University where she studied business and computers and was employed as office manager at Marshall Contractors. Eleanor had compassion for the sick and later became an at home care giver. She enjoyed traveling, visiting many casinos throughout her travels, gardening, golfing, cooking and especially spending time with her family and grandson Michael who was her pride and joy.

She is survived by her son Alan Cordeiro of Cranston; her daughter Roberta and son-in-law Ronald DiDonna with whom she lived; her grandson Michael DiDonna; and her sister Rosemarie Andreozzi of Barrington. She was the former wife of the late Robert Cordeiro.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, September 17th at 10:00 a.m. in the Swan Point Cemetery Chapel, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence.

Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
