ELEANOR (DI PRETE) ASCHETTINO

98, of Scituate, formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Cra-Mar Meadows, Scituate. She was the beloved wife of the late Agostino N. "Gus" Aschettino. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Domenic and Maria (Malone) DiPrete.

Eleanor is survived by her loving sons, Joseph N. Aschettino and his wife Carlotta, of Coventry, and Stephen N. Aschettino and his wife Elaine, of South Dennis, MA. She was the cherished grandmother of Joseph, Brian, Stephen, and Jessica Aschettino, and the great-grandmother of six. Eleanor was the sister of the late Ida Moretti, Arthur, Alberic, Nunzio, and Albert DiPrete.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
