EILEEN L. (SAWYER) MURRAY

Eileen L. (Sawyer) Murray 73, of Elmwood Avenue, Cranston, died Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. She was the wife of Ronald F. Murray. They were married for fifty-five years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Lester B. and Mary J. (Kenney) Sawyer. Mrs. Murray along with her husband was the co-owner of Ronny's Place Tavern of Cranston for the past twenty-eight years. Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Ronald F. Murray, Jr. of Cranston, William L. Murray, Patricia L. Costa both of Warwick, Robert D. Murray and Cathy A. Murray both of Cranston. Mrs. Murray was the grandmother of six and the great-grandmother of four. She was the sister of the late Warren, Elmer, Lester, Harry, Jackie and Robert Sawyer, Anna Catone, Rita Raposa, Evelyn Anderson and Jean Breedon. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday, at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Matthew's Church, Elmwood Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
