EILEEN F. (DEIGHAN) MEZZINI

88, formerly of Trellis Dr., West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Kent Regency Center in Warwick, RI. She was the wife of the late Giovanni "Ben" Mezzini, daughter of the late John P. Deighan and Josephine (Daly) Deighan and sister of the late Edward F. Deighan.

Mrs. Mezzini leaves two children, Eileen F. Davis of Florida and John P. Mezzini of Cranston, RI. She is also survived by five loving grandchildren, John Davis of Boston, Eileen Davis Roesler of Chicago, Courtney Davis O'Leary of SC, Nicole Mezzini Spencer and Mark Mezzini, both of RI, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Eileen was a graduate of Pawtucket West High School and Hubbard Business School. She was employed for many years as the Headmaster's secretary at the Wheeler School in Providence, and in the business department there. She was also employed by Gilbane Properties in the Arcade division.

Eileen and her husband were avid Boston Celtics and Boston Red Sox fans. They always enjoyed spending winters on Marco Island, FL and dancing to the sounds of the Big Bands.

Everyone always enjoyed seeing her gracious smile and a sparkling wink to go with her dazzling personality. She was always there to lend a hand, whatever the task might be, and her generosity never faltered.

Eileen will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Rd., Warwick at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Mount St. Mary Cemetery in Pawtucket.
