EILEEN LAFAZIA

Eileen M. (Hegarty) Lafazia 83, of, Cheryl Drive., Johnston, died on Tuesday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. Born in England she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Doherty) Hegarty. She is survived by her children Kathleen LaFazia and Jamie Jacavone both of Johnston and Anthony J. LaFazia of Warwick, her grandchildren Kimberly Sousa, Dawn Pezza, Tracy Carson, Jessie Jacavone and Bernard Lafazia, her great-grandchildren Mark A. Pezza, Kassidy Carson, and Kayln Carson. She was the sister of the late Thomas, Peter and James Hegarty and Kathleen Whealton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 9 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
