EILEEN R. (NEVILLE) ALLEN

94, formerly of Cranston, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2010 at Steere House Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Marshall B. Allen Sr. Born in West Springfield, MA she was a daughter of the late Timothy and Mary (McCann) Neville. Mrs. Allen was a Licensed Practical Nurse working for many years in area hospitals. She graduated from the first class at Our Lady of Fatima Nursing School holding the #1 pin. Eileen was a long time member of the 3rd Order of St. Francis and a communicant of St. Paul's Church, Cranston. She was the beloved mother of Bette Mae Carlone of Narragansett, Mary Johnson and her husband David of Cranston, JoAnn DeCarlo and her husband Joseph of Warwick, Christine Allen of Cranston, Marshall B. Allen Jr. and his wife Eileen of Warwick, John "Jack" Allen of FL and the late Stuart Allen. Grandmother of 21 and great grandmother of 26. Sister of Dorothy Carroll of CA and the late Virginia I. Grady, Ceclia Dougherty, Thomas H., Richard F., Daniel, Michael and John J. Neville. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 8:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Paul's Church, One St. Paul Place, Cranston at 9:00am. Visiting hours: Thursday morning 7:30 - 8:30am. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
