EDWIN S. SPIRITO

72, of North East Street, Deerfield Beach, FL, formerly of Cranston, died peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Fatima Hospital, North Providence. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Carlo and Antonetta (Ruggieri) Spirito Sr. He lived in Cranston until moving to Florida 25 years ago. Mr. Spirito was employed at the Department of Public Works for the City of Boca Raton, FL for 15 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge both of FL. He is survived by two sons: David Spirito and his wife Antonetta of Johnston and Gregory Spirito and his wife Toni of Johnston. Grandfather of Leah and Erica. Brother of Florence Marshell of North Smithfield, Carlo Spirito Jr. of Cranston and the late Josephine McLendon, Arlene Stiles and Walter Spirito. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Avenue Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church 1525 Cranston Street Cranston at 10 am. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 4-8pm.
