EDWARD B. ZANFAGNA

82, of Queen Street, Cranston passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2011. He was the husband of the late Catherine (Croce) Zanfagna. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Raffaele and Adelina (D'Arezzo) Zanfagna. Mr. Zanfagna was a supervisor for the City of Providence Highway Division for over 35 years. He was a member of the Fruit Hill Avenue VFW Post of North Providence and an avid Yankees fan. Edward loved watching the teams play for the Atwood Avenue Softball League. He was the beloved father of Kathleen A. Dutra of Cranston and Edward J. Zanfagna of Providence. Loving Papa of Sheena, Keri, Peter and Eddie. Cherished Papa # 2 of 4 great grandchildren. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 10:00am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew's Church Elmwood Avenue, Cranston at 11:00am. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 5-8pm. Kindly omit flowers.
