EDWARD M. "EDDY" RUSSO

83, of Warwick passed away on Friday, February 11, 2011 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence. Edward was the beloved husband of Cesarina (Zompa) Russo. Born in Johnston, he was the son of the late Domenico and Maria (Ricci) Russo. Eddy was a US Navy Seabee Veteran serving during WWII. Mr. Russo owned and operated Ocean State Driving School for 30 years before his retirement. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Paula Palmisciano and her husband Stephen of Warwick and Stephen Russo. Mr. Russo was the devoted grandfather of four. Edward was the brother of Mary DiBiasio of Warwick, Anna Perry of Providence and the late William, Peter, Carlo, Pasco, Thomas, Ralph aRusso, Concetta Amato, Catherine Paradis and Dorothy Zednick. Funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of St. Mark, Garden City, Cranston at 11:00 a.m. Visiting hours: Monday morning 9:00-10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
