With grace and peace, Edward Joseph Imperatore, 94, a lifelong resident of Cranston, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016.

He was the husband of Anne (Boschetti) Imperatore. They were married over 70 years. Ed was born in Providence, son of the late Michael and Angela (Ricci) Imperatore.

Besides his beloved wife he is survived by his loving daughters; Ann-Elizabeth of Hope, Melody Acciardo (Mickey) of Cranston, Angela Hilliard (David) of Cranston and Felicia of Manhattan. He was the brother of Joseph Imperatore of Lincoln. He was the cherished “Poppa” of four grandchildren; including Michael and Mia Acciardo.

Ed was the brother of the late Ida Rosenfeld, Lillian Cotoia, Helen Hallem, Catherine Ottiano, Ralph, Romolo, Raymond and James.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home and Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Mark Church, Garden City Drive, Cranston. Interment will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
