89, of Cranston, died Friday, June 11, 2010 at the home of his son in Cumberland. He was the husband of the late Loretta M. (Bastone) Gosselin. Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Cleophas and Anna (Theriault) Gosselin. Mr. Gosselin was a supervisor at the former E.A. Adams Jewelry Company for twenty-three years before retiring in 1984. He was also employed by Ann & Hope in the Security Department for nine years. Ed was a member of the Immaculate Conception St. Joseph's Men's Guild and also served as an usher. He was a US Army veteran serving during WW II. He is survived by his three sons, Edward H. Gosselin, Jr. of North Carolina, Robert A. Gosselin of Cumberland and Alan C. Gosselin of Orlando, FL. He was the grandfather of eight and the great-grandfather of fourteen. Ed was the brother of Monica Stone of Norwich, CT and the late Anna Manson, Gisele Petrarca, Rene, Joseph and Roy Gosselin. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Burial with Military Honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
