Edward H. Ferry, Sr.

Edward H. Ferry, Sr., 65, of Hillside Ave., Johnston, RI, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at home. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late James J. and Clare B. (Fagan) Ferry, Sr. and devoted and cherished father of Jerilyn P. Parker (Michael) of Cranston and the late Edward H. Ferry, Jr.

Edward was a bus mechanic for the City of Cranston Public Schools for many years.

Besides his daughter Jerilyn, he is survived by his former wife Cindy (Altounian) Ferry of Cranston and his loving grandchildren Isabella, Zachary and Gianna Ferry. He was the dear brother of James Ferry (Christine) of Michigan, Jayne Hennessey (Paul) of North Providence, Christopher Ferry (Gayle) of Hawaii, David Ferry (the late Denise), Sean Ferry and Jennifer Ferry all of Johnston and the late Steven Ferry. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 11 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by inurnment at North Burial Ground, Providence.  VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
