EDWARD E. ERVANIAN

93, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday August 3, 2011 at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre in Cranston. He was the beloved husband of Carole (Loporchio) Ervanian. Edward was born in Worcester, MA a son of the late Garabed and Lucia (Barsamian) Ervanian. Mr. Ervanian was a salesperson for many years at City Hall Hardware and Sears Roebuck until his retirement. Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Edward C. Ervanian and his wife Polly of West Warwick, Anne L. Lanni and her husband Walter of Cranston and Carmel R. DeSimone and her husband Ronald of Cranston. He was also the cherished grandfather of Kristie Ervanian Thornhill, Ronald DeSimone and Lauren DeSimone. Edward was also the grandfather of the late Edward E. Ervanian II and brother of the late Stanley Ervanian, Nevart Atamian, Isabelle Berberian, Grace McGreevy and Ruth Ervanian. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 11 am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St., Cranston. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
