EDWARD COLARDO

94, of Providence, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at home. He was the beloved husband of Marie (Pella) Colardo. They were married for seventy-four years. Born in Barrington he was a son of the late John and Antonette (Cortellesa) Colardo. Mr. Colardo was a plasterer for Tim Pella Plastering Company for forty years before his retirement. He was an avid golfer.

Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children John Colardo and his companion (Claudia) of Johnston and Janice Marino and her husband (Robert)of Lincoln. He was the cherished grandfather of six and the great-grandfather of nine. Edward was the brother of James Colardo of Barrington and the late Thomas Colardo and Angelina Ravo.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Bartholomew's Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
