87, of Scotland Rd. Cranston, passed away on Saturday October 22, 2011 at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre in Cranston. He was the devoted husband of Virginia (Paparelli) Buco. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Pasquale Buco and Mary (Santanielli) Pella. Edward worked for the Narragansett Electric Company for thirty years, before his retirement. He was a volunteer firefighter for the City of Cranston and a member of the Knights of Columbus of Cranston. Besides his wife he is survived by his children; Deborah Thurber, James Buco, Guy Buco and his wife Donna, Bernadette Turchetta, Joseph Buco and his companion Cheryl Feeley. He was the grandfather of Necole Jocoppi and her husband John, Guy Jr., Laura and Michael Buco and Tiffany Turchetta; and great-grandfather of Spencer Jocoppi. He was the brother of Pasquale Buco, Dorothy Pella and the late Anthony Buco andJames Pella.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church 1525 Cranston St. Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
