73, of Bryant Rd., Cranston, formerly of Woonsocket, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 at home. Born in Woonsocket, he was the devoted son of the late Edward and Margaret (Walsh) Brennan.
Ned worked for the State of RI, Office of Rehabilitation Services for 32 years before retiring. He was a 1955 graduate of Mount Saint Charles Academy and later did his graduate studies in Rochester, NY. He was an avid bicyclist and enjoyed playing the ukulele.
He was the loving brother of the late Mary C. Brennan and is survived by seven cousins, Margaret Hoard, Elizabeth Hughes, Michael Walsh, W. Patrick Walsh, David Hoard, Peter Walsh and Mary Staryak and his close friend for over 40 years, Jack Amaral.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew's Church, 1291 Elmwood Ave., Cranston at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
