EDMUND J. VOTTO

of Cranston Street, Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. He was the husband of Ann (Petrillo) Votto. A lifelong Cranston resident he was a son of the late Anthony and Albina (Golini) Votto. Mr. Votto worked for General Electric's wiring device department in quality control for 43 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Kelley-Gazzero Post #2812, Cranston. Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters: Jennifer Votto of Cumberland and Karen Votto of Cranston. He was the brother of Raymond Votto Sr. and William Votto Sr. both of Cranston and the late Pasco Votto. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 9:00am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston Street, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Burial, with military honors, will be held in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd., Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
