Edith M. (Susi) Messier

90, of Cranston , passed away on November 27, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Home, East Greenwich . She was the beloved wife of the late Marcel H. Messier

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Marco and Ana (Santucci) Susi. Edith was a well known seamstress for many years; she was also a member of the Madonna Della Civita Society and a faithful parishioner of St. Mary’s Church , Cranston.

She is survived by her loving children: Michael J. Messier of San Diego, CA and Jeffrey J. Messier and his wife Cathy of Fall River , MA ; her cherished grandsons: Marc and Matthew Messier. She was also the sister of the late Connie Petrucci and Norma Susi.

Her visiting hours will be held on Monday evening 5-7 pm in the Nardolillo Funeral Home SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL , 1111 BOSTON NECK RD., NARRAGANSETT. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday morning at 11 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston, followed by burial and committal prayers in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston.
