88, of Cranston passed away on Saturday November 27, 2010 at home. Edith was born in Guarcino, Italy the daughter of the late Casto and Assunta (Natalizia) Loffredo. Ms. Giolitti was the owner and operator of Mario's Market in Cranston.
She is survived by her loving children, Juliana Osterholm and Mario Giolitti both of Cranston. She was also the cherished grandmother of 3, great grandmother of 4 , and was the sister of Cesarina Cicchelli of Warwick and the late Vincent and Angelo Loffredo.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Bartholomew's Church Laurel Hill Ave., Providence. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Tuesday 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Founders Affiliate, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005, or the St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
