90, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene O. Gallo. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Angelina (Panarelli) Carnevale. Edith was a self-employed seamstress, milliner, and caterer for over forty years before her retirement. She was a life member of the Daughters of Isabella. Edith enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Her kindness and hospitality were known to all.
Edith was the sister of Evelyn R. Pastore of Cranston, Walter L. Carnevale of Warwick, Vincent Carnevale of Cranston, and Virginia Bernard of Wakefield, and the late Joseph and Nicholas Carnevale. She is also survived by eighteen nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston.
