Born in Branson, Colorado, a daughter of the late Jasper and Loueller (Spratley) Flippin, she lived in Independence, Missouri before moving to Cranston in 1945.
Mrs. Florio was co-owner with her late husband of Farm Fresh Produce at the former Farmer's Market on Harris Avenue in Providence for 29 years, retiring in 1984. An avid golfer, she was a member of Alpine Country Club in Cranston.
She was the devoted mother of Elizabeth E. Distasio of Cranston, Loraine J. Dumerer of Texas, and Cecelia J. Wood of Arkansas; loving grandmother of ten and great-grandmother of seven.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by interment at RI Veterans Cemetery in Exeter.
