EDA H. (LUCCA) BARILE

83, of Providence, died Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at home. Eda was the beloved wife of the late Simmaco Barile. Born in Biailatina, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Agnes (Santora) Lucca. Mrs. Barile was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church and a member of the Women's Guild. She was also a member of the Holy Cross Women's Guild and the Manton Seniors. She is survived by her loving children, David A. Barile of Smithfield and Cynthia A. Barile of Providence. Eda was the sister of Maria Carbone of Johnston, and the late Angelina Giardina, Pasquale, Angelo and Frank Lucca. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anthony's Church, Plainfield Street, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
