Dorothy J. Moretta

89, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side on Monday, January 4, 2021. Born in Providence, she was the devoted daughter of Benedetto and Filomena (Meloccaro) Moretta. Dorothy was the loving sister of Leonora “Lee” (Moretta) Marandola of Cranston and the late John Moretta. She also leaves behind her cherished nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends and her caretaker Sohna.

Dorothy was an electrolysis in the beauty industry for over 40 years before retiring. She was a member and former treasurer of the American Electrolysis Association, and a member of the St. Mary’s Feast Society and Ladies Auxiliary. Dorothy was a loving, kind and genuine person who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
