DOROTHY (GAMBA) MARIANO

88, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 15, 2013, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of sixty-five years to Michele P. "Mike" Mariano. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Anicetto and Maria (Prata) Gamba. Dorothy was an assembler for the Norton Company of Cranston before her retirement.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Marie Quattrucci and her husband William of East Greenwich, Dorothy Campopiano and her husband David of Providence, Donna Drolet and her late husband Paul of Florida, and Michael Mariano and his wife Bernadette of South Kingstown. Dorothy was the cherished grandmother of ten and the great-grandmother of twelve. She was the sister of Jennie Buglio, and the late, Martha Di Raimo,Vincent Gamba, Valentino Gamba, Anicetto Gamba, Jr., Anna Bergantino, Frances Cardillo, and Connie Francazio.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston .
