DOROTHY "ELAINE" KEMBLE

(Russell) Dorothy "Elaine" Kemble 83, of Lodge St. Cranston passed away Tuesday November 25, 2008 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin J. Kemble, Sr. She was born in Cranston a daughter of the late Fredrick R. Russell, Sr. and Helen (Brooks) Russell. Mrs. Kemble was a portrait colorist for Sheppard's Department Store in Providence. Elaine is survived by her loving children, Mary Ellen Kraus of Cranston, Frances Kemble of Cranston, Ned Kemble, PPD of Cranston, Mark Kemble, Playwright of CA, her siblings, Florence Presley of West Warwick, Jean Russell of East Greenwich, Fredrick R. Russell, Jr of CA, Robert Brooks of Johnston, William Brooks of West Warwick. She was the cherished grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 6. Elaine was also the loving mother of the late Kevin J. Kemble and was the sister of the late James Russell, Barbara Cowsill and Marilyn Arrighe. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Ann's Church Cranston St. Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday 4-8 pm.
