DOROTHY V. (DEL SESTO) GIARRUSSO

89, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at RI Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife of Domenic Giarrusso. They were married 64 years and have been lifelong companions since 1st grade. Dorothy was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Angelo and Elizabeth (Ciaramello) DelSesto. Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Edward Giarrusso of Cranston and Elaine Czebotar and her husband John of MA. She was also the cherished grandmother of 2, great grandmother of 2 and was the sister of Richard DelSesto of Johnston, Filomena Ciummo of Johnston, Elena Melillo of Hopkinton. Dorothy was also the mother in-law of the late Helen Giarrusso and sister of the late Ralph and Mary DelSesto. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Bartholomew's Church, Laurel Hill Ave., Providence. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday morning 8-9:30 am.
