DOROTHY (VALLANDE) CRETA

83, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Charlesgate Nursing Home, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Liberato Creta. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Elisabetta (Catolino) Vallande. Dorothy was employed by the former Spencer Plating Company prior to her retirement.

She is survived by her loving son Giuseppe Creta and his wife Lori-Jo of Cranston. Dorothy was the cherished grandmother of Sara and Joseph Creta. She was the devoted sister of Eleanor Mirante , Mary Vallande, both of Cranston, and the late Luigi, Antonio, Rocco, and Benny Vallande.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
