Dorothy (Comella) Brodeur

of Johnston passed away on Tuesday September 28, 2021 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence.

She was the beloved wife of the late Norman R. Brodeur. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Leo and Josephine (Cipriano) Comella.

Dorothy was a jewelry worker for many years before retirement. She loved Bocce, Bingo, Cards, Bowling and all Sports, and she was also loved by many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was the devoted mother of Sheila Leonard and her husband Frank of Smithfield and Debra Brodeur of Johnston; loving grandmother of Robert Leonard and his wife Crystal; loving great-grandmother of Devin Leonard and Pierce Leonard. She was the dear sister of Teresa M. Lowe of Greenville and the late Anthony “Tony” Comella, Leonard “Lenny” Comella, Frederick “Fred” Comella and Concetta “Tina” Simeone.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church

15 George Waterman Rd. Johnston at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are Tuesday Morning October 5th 2021 from 9am to 10:30 am.
