DOROTHY L. BEVILACQUA

83, of Providence, died Sunday, December 28, 2008 at RI Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of Robert J. Bevilacqua Esq. Mr. & Mrs. Bevilacqua had celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary. Born in Cranston she was a daughter of the late Benedetto and Lucrezia (Suali) Volpe. She was the sister of Mafalda Carnevale, Benny Volpe, Barbara Erb, Josephine (Ruotolo) Ponanski, Angela Puopolo and the late Frank Volpe, Angelo Volpe, Nicholas Volpe, Carlo Volpe, Rose Impagliazzo and Nancy Golini. Beloved Sister-in-Law of the late Chief Justice Joseph and Josephine Bevilacqua and Henry and Lucy Pezza. She is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews and Godchildren. Dorothy faithfully attended St. Bartholomew's Church and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew's Church, Providence at 10:00am. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 4-8pm.
