DORIS A. MORROCCO

90, of Sherwood St., passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 1, 2012 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Saccoccia) Morrocco. Doris was a Supervisor of Human Resources employed at Quonset for more than 30 years and employed as a Supervisor at the RI Department of Health until her retirement. She had been a dossier at the RI School of Design at the Museum for children. Her passion in life was World Traveling and was a member of the Audubon Society and also enjoyed spending endless hours in her garden. She was the sister of Mary Martin and Theresa Lightbown both of Cranston and the late Esther George, Ellen Hight, Joseph, Louis, Tony, Thomas and Robert Morrocco. She was survived by her numerous loving nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St., Cranston at 10am. Interment will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday Morning from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
