Doris E. Cuddy (Briden), aged 78, of Warwick, peacefully passed away on October 12, 2023. She was born in Massachusetts, the cherished daughter of the late Benjamin E. and Selina (Thompson) Briden. Doris leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by her six devoted children: Maria E. DePasquale and her husband Steven of Scituate, Peter J. Palumbo and his wife Sheena of Scituate, Doreen L. Palumbo Flynn of Cranston, Patricia L. Arciero and her husband Robert of Smithfield, Dawn M. Smith and her husband Christopher of Johnston, and Thomas Cuddy of Warwick. Her love extended to her sixteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and a great, great-grandson. Doris' spirit will live on through cherished memories, her passion for music and films, the traditions she held dear during the holidays, the timeless recipes that will be savored by generations, her love for reading, and the countless pages of solved puzzle books. Most importantly, her enduring spirit will persist in the love she gave, living on in her children, as parents themselves. In fond remembrance of Doris’ life, her funeral and burial will be held in private for her immediate family only at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
