DORIS M. (LAYFIELD) BROWN

76, of Wesleyan Ave. Coventry died Wednesday July 16, 2008, surrounded by her children and grandchildren, at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. She was the devoted wife of 52 years to Arthur R. Brown. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Anna (Brosnan) Layfield. Mrs. Brown was the beloved mother of Arthur J. Brown of Coventry, Anna and her husband Michael McKanna of Coventry, Kerry and her husband Robert Beaudry of West Greenwich, Linda and her husband Geoffrey Sinnott of Coventry and David A. Brown of Las Vegas, NV, she was the proud grandmother of Danielle, Kristen, Robi-Lyn, Ian, Geoffrey Jr., Jennifer, Casey, Mitchell, Kyle and Samantha. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann's Church Cranston at 10am. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Sunday 4-8pm.
