Doreen A. (Goodness) Payne

61, of Cranston, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving daughters. She was the beloved wife of the late Steven N. Payne for 24 years. Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of Roland L. Goodness and the late Janice A. (LeBer) Goodness; and sister of Rhonda L. Hartman (her late husband Craig Hartman). She was the loving mother of Nicole A. Brunhuber and Jordyn N. Payne; aunt to Craig Hartman Jr. (wife, Amanda) and Corey Hartman (wife, Jeanna); and great aunt to Kaya, Cody, and Cayden. 

Doreen was a bartender at the T.F. Green Airport for the last 20 years. She was an avid lover of the beach, namely Galilee, and a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Above all, her proudest and greatest joy in life was being a mom. Her love and devotion to her daughters was unmatched, nourishing her incredibly caring and compassionate nature. She will be missed dearly. 

Her funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
