DORA (TULLI) VOLPIGNO

A�A�92, of Providence, passed away on Thursday , August 5, 2010 at Westborough Health Care Center, Westborough, MA. She was the beloved wife of sixty-nine years to John Volpigno. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Annibale and Amalia (Baldini) Tulli. Dora was employed by the former People's Department Store of Providence for thirty years before retiring in 1983. She was an avid bingo player. Dora was the matriarch of her family, a person everyone could come to. She was a caring loving person who always gave of herself. Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving sons, John Volpigno and his wife Dale of Sutton, MA and Narragansett and Paul M. Volpigno and his companion Eva Heraver of Warner Springs, CA. Dora was the cherished grandmother of three beautiful granddaughters, Lisa, Amy, and Julie Volpigno. She was also the great-grandmother of Giana Volpigno. She was the sister of Rita Zottola of Pascoag, RI and the late Anna Gesualdi, Albert Tulli, and Benjamin Tulli. Dora is also survived by several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906.
