DORA M. (IANNETTA) TROIA
86, of Johnston, passed away on Saturday June 19, 2010 at St. Eizabeth's Home in East Greenwich.
She was the devoted wife of the late Fiore "Frank" Troia.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Sylvia (Centracchio) Iannetta. Mrs. Troia was the co-owner of Hilltop Hinge and Clip Company, of Providence, for 50 years with her husband before her retirement.
She was a communicant of St. Rocco's Church; and was a member of the Legion of Mary,Wanskuck Wonders Club and the Women's Guild of St. Rocco's Church.
She was the beloved mother of Christopher F. Troia of Johnston, Sylvia C. Anthony of Providence, Linda M. Soave of Cranston, and Claudia A. Della Salla of Montery, CA. and Cranston, RI loving grandmother of Andrea, Jennifer and Albert Soave, Michael Anthony, Christopher Troia, Briana Troia and Antonio Della Salla; and dear sister of Margaret DeLucia of Providence and the late Anna Salvatore, Anthony Iannetta, Dr. Albert Iannetta, Angelo Iannetta and Vincenza Mignella.
Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church Atwood Ave. Johnston at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
