DORA TROFI

Dora (Cipriano) Trofi 92, of Scituate Avenue, Cranston, formerly of Johnston, died Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. She was the wife of the late Louis Trofi. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Amelia (Scarduzio) Cipriano. Mrs. Trofi was a nurse's assistant at Cedar Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Cranston for ten years before retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Scituate Vista Association. Mrs. Trofi enjoyed spending time with her family and playing bingo. In her younger years she was an avid dancer. She is survived by her two daughters, Carmela A. DiFazio and Barbara M. Barnes both of Cranston. Mrs. Trofi was the grandmother of Lynne M. Brooks of Newton, MA, David W. Barnes of Warwick and Ernest DiFazio Jr. of Cranston. She was the great-grandmother of seven. Mrs. Trofi was the sister of Angelina Trofi, Michael Cipriano both of Providence and the late Joseph, Anthony and Alfred Cipriano, Anna Pantalena and Rose Renzi. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston.
