Donna Lynn (Sweeney) Pezza

62, of Cranston passed away on Thursday July 29, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital.

She was the wife of Thomas Pezza and the late William Giampietro.

Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Robert and Marguerite (Connetta ) Sweeney. Donna was a school bus driver for the Cranston School Department for 33 years before retiring. Upon retiring Donna had a great love for the beach and cherished her new home in Florida. Beach life was Donna’s passion.

She was the life of the party – always light up the room when she entered. She always left an amazing first impression and was well respected. Donna was an advocate for animals and loved her late horse Kabuki and her dog Axel and she also had a love for motorcycles and vacationing.

She was the mother of Tonya Giampietro and her fiancée Joseph Cairo of Cranston; her cherished granddaughter Ciana- she was her best friend. She was the sister of Robin Palmieri of Cranston and Patricia Brisson of Warwick and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours are Thursday August 5, 2021 in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston from 4 pm to 8 pm.

Burial will be private.
